We’ve been building our Pinterest boards recently and have seen some really beautiful looks using make-up to create a masquerade look without the mask. We’ve pulled together some of our favourites with video tutorials so you can give them a go yourself! Check out our designated Masquerade Makeup board on Pinterest for extra inspiration.

Top tip: give your look a dry run before your big event to practice. If you find the make-up route isn’t for you, there are plenty of beautiful looks to find at Samantha Peach.

Look no. 1 – Classic Black Lace

This one is so fab, a real beautiful classic black lace effect, I take my hat off to the skills these MUA's have, I usually have 5 minutes to do my makeup when I'm going out, so always focus on a red lip - gives me plenty of bang for my buck!

Look no. 2 – White mask with feather lashes
The lovely Lisa Gregory has created a beautiful white mask complete with long, colourful feathered lashes. The look is customisable to suit your own colour scheme.

Look no. 3 – “Bat your eyes”

This look is for our superhero fans. Ever wanted to be Batgirl? Joni Lynne will show you how.

This one really tries to look more like a mask than just clever makeup - sooo clever!
